I am the proud owner of a new Bushmaster M4 flattop. (post ban). I am very pleased with this rifle and the way it performs. The only thing negative I can say about it is that it's going to cost me a bunch in ammo.
I purchased a tetra cleaning set from Bushmaster which has four items in it. The owners manual for the gun only tells you to use the CLP, which I assume is the spray can product. The other products are a small bottle of lubricant, a copper solvent and a tube of grease. My question is are these to be utilized and if so on what part of the gun.
Also would it be better to use the otis flex cable system or the segmented rod GI issue cleaning kit to clean my gun.
