I am thinking of buying one of the Vortex closeout scopes (2-7X32 to be precise) and I am wondering if these scopes are designed to withstand the recoil of larger caliber rifles? Specifically, a 308 AR? I know the BDC is designed for .223, so I am looking at the Versa-plex. Actually, how does the entire Vortex line of optics hold up to larger caliber rifles?
Thanks! |

It will hold up easily. All of our scopes are built to withstand heavy recoil. I've hammered the Vipers on our .50BMG plenty and never had any problems. In fact, our recoil testing is quite a bit harder than even the .50BMG. -Sam |
