New feller here. This is my first AR - PSA complete lower with Magpul grip, stock, and trigger guard mated with a PSA 16" stainless heavy upper, mid length gas with 13" hybrid rail. Used an AIM NiB bcg and Anderson ch. Mounted some MBUS on top and itching to throw some rounds!
I was originally looking at the Rural King sale rack but wanted a FF rail and liked the keymod/mlok style. Decided to go this route for a better rifle for about the same $$. Have $650 in it after shipping and everything.

PSA 9mm Colt lower, ALG ACT trigger, Magpul K2 grip, KAK shockwave dimpled buffer tube and brace, metalforum mags
Aero Slick side upper, BA 8" 9mm barrel, Odin Works 5.5" Kmod rail, magpul bus, Burris AR-F3 (fastfire 3 in the AR mount), BCM angled grip, PSA hybrid BCG, XP fluted thread protector. Strike industries dust cover (the easiest I have ever installed. Can is in jail still.

Here are my two PSA builds. Both set-up almost identical with a few minor differences.
The all black build is a PSA mid-length FN CMV premium upper cut to 14.5 with a pinned/welded YHM 5C1 by ADCO. The lower is a PSA PI S/N lower with a PSA lpk and ALG QMS. The black/FDE build is a Daniel Defense 14.5 M4 profile carbine CHF barrel with a pinned/welded YHM 5C1 by ADCO and an Aero Precision upper receiver. The lower is a PSA LW S/N lower with a PSA lpk and a Geissele G2S.

Upper: SAA forged upper receiver SAA gas tube and gas block Anderson 10.5" barrel Nickel boron bcg Seekins 12" M-lok rail Kak slimline flash can Standard charging handle Lower: PSA Lower receiver KAK buffer tube with Shockwave blade Hexmag grip and magazine (Waiting on PSA enhanced fire control group + JP Srings) Vortex Sparc II Red dot Mbus pop up backup sights

Swapped out the CTR for a minimalist stock and added some Troy sights. Also decided to try a PSA NiB BCG. I had no intentions of making this rifle the way it is now when I started it. It was going to be just another A4 clone but parts meant for other rifles or future builds ended up on it as time went by. It's quickly becoming a favorite of mine. |

I just finished my 20in AR build, 90% PSA with the stock being unknown. Can't wait to take this bad boy out shooting, however the bolt does make me nervous, it has the logo and gets stuck in my other AR and sometimes seems to not go all the way into battery. We shall see 
Either way, It has been a great deal. My first AR cost me 803 after taxes and BC. This total has cost me 545.99 total. I am so impressed by the quality, and the speed in which I was able to get the parts. The blem lower, had less "blems" then the new in box AR I bought for my first gun. 545

Palmetto Midlength AR47 upper complete Anderson Lower Strike Industries Red Charging Handle (to help identify it as different from some of my other AR's) B5 furniture H3 Buffer VLTOR Flash Hiding Compensator on the way I put the H3 in on and ordered the comp on account of the recoil. Elsewise, this thing is AWESOME! No jams or other issues, it zeroed fine at 25m, and was hitting steel plates at 300m no problem with just the Vortex SPARC AR, which is also pretty legit so far. This B5 furniture is on nearly all of my AR's, its at least as inexpensive as Magpul, and to me, the ergos are way better. I think I might keep adding red to this one. |
