Rock Island parts assembled on a Palmetto Armory frame.
I'm sure it will need some tuning, and there are several parts that I could fit better, but it went together with no problem whatsoever. I ordered this frame and all the other parts to build a suppressor host, but haven't had the time to fit/assemble it. When I received the RIA parts from another Arfcom member, temptation overcame me........ Just left the PSA website, where I ordered another frame to 'replace' this one.
Can't shoot it yet. I forgot to order the staking tool for the plunger tube. 
The only part I didn't use from the RIA is the trigger. Essentially a RIA Tactical assembled on a Palmetto frame. 
Only detail of note is that the frame is a bit 'long' at the rear. I'll leave that alone for now, as I may fit a different barrel in the future. |

Did a few builds in the past few months. First one is the PA9, built from PSA's initial 9mm carbine parts kits. Non-ramped bolt. No issues other than an out of spec magblock initially that PSA took care of by sending me another. Has a B5 systems front hand guard and pistol grip as well as a Daniel Defense buttstock.
Second, this is one of the 499.99 rifle kits that included the Vortex Spitfire 1x prism optic. The rifle kit was the standard 399.99 kit they sell so I either got a 250 dollar scope for 100 bucks or a 400 dollar rifle kit for about 250 bucks. Either way, with a 40 dollar Anderson lower, this is an inexpensive rifle. I did change out the furniture though and the pic below shows a Cavalry arms M4 style mid length hand guard, Bravo company mod0 stock and mod 3 pistol grip. 
Last but not least, I got one of the 289.99 dissipator uppers and put an old A1 vietnam era set of furniture I'd had since the late nineties or so to get a somewhat retro look AR. I got one of the A1 style detachable carry handles and put it on an Anderson lower with a PSA lower parts kit. I really like the look and feel. I know it's not a true retro due to several reasons, but I'm not going for 100% retro, just like the look.

My $299.99 "slick side" build, 1-9 twist HB NATO rifle. Put on Magpul MOE furniture just cause I like it. GG&G ambi single point sling attachment and ambi safety that I had laying around. RRA two stage trigger in a real old STAG arms lower I had laying around doing nothing. Magpul BUIS on top, this rifle doesn't need glass or anything fancy. KISS style rifle is exactly what I was looking for. No range report yet but soon. Upper is super tight to the lower, no rattle or shake whatsoever. Enjoy.

Another 20" PSA build of mine. It started out as an A4 style build similar to the one I posted in here before but I decided to change it all up. It's wearing an Aimpoint PRO in this picture but I've since put a 1.25-4x Leupold VX-R patrol on it that used to be on another rifle. It's long and just a little heavier than most of my other rifles but it's by far the smoothest shooting. -PSA 20" CHF 1/7 upper. -PSA lower -Vltor A5 extension and buffer -Midwest Industries G3 lightweight m-lok handguard -SilencerCo specwar brake/mount |

Here's my PSA AR-10, well before I had to return the upper to have it repaired/replaced as it wouldn't fully load the round. But hopefully it'll look like this again soon (with a better scope I have waiting for it). (removed pic's) because photobucket wants to be retarded. Well I got my upper back, I figured out what the issues was and fixed it myself. Now it's running flawlessly with some new glass. Love this rifle! (removed pic's) because photobucket wants to be retarded. And that's nothin' but pure and simple old-fashioned Communism. |

Here is my PA-10 build. Shoots like a dream, very little recoil. 50 Rounds fired, not a single mis-feed or FTF. Nice 3 inch groups at 100 yards without bags. My new favorite gun!
