I'm about to order one of the microdots but noticed that there's a fixed base and a removeabile base version. The fixed base version is all I need but I noticed that the brightness setting knob is on top. The removeable base version has the brightness setting knob on the side. At least that's what the pictures on the website show. I'd really prefer the knob on the right side instead of on top, so do I have to order the removeable base version?
