Hello, all. My first post:
I just purchased my second BM. I have a Dissipator, and just got the M4 A3. My question is as follows: when I bought the Dissipator, it was new and unfired. There were no marks anywhere, I mean no brass drag marks on the bolt, ejection marks on the deflector, bolt was clean, etc.. I just picked up a "new" M4 from a shop I deal with quite a bit. The rifle was supposed to be new, and I do not have any doubts as to the integrity of the shop. HOWEVER, THIS RIFLE WAS DEFINITELY FIRED. Marks on the deflector, bolt body, bolt face had dirt-primer sealant type dirt(red crap), carbon in the carrier key, some fouling in the barrel, to make it short - it had been fired. So the question is: does BM test fire rifles at random before shipment, did I get a not-quite-new gun, what?
I love the Dissipator, I hope the M4 is as nice as that.
