OK, got my A2 20" expedition. Assembled it (went together so easily I was amazed) It shoots great and gives awesome groups. Everything is so smoothe I just wish like hell I had one this nice when I was in the Army. Now for the problem!!! Along with my kit, I ordered 3 mags. They are the 30 rd commercial mags. You were out of the mil spec. Each mag has a problem of launching the last round. Occaisionally it is a double feed, but typically, as the bolt retracts to pick up the last round, the cartridge just pops up and causes the bolt to lock open. It does not matter how many rounds I load into the mag. 10, 20, 30, it always does it on the last round. I have E-mailed J&T customer service and haven't gotten a reply. Hopefully you can help. What do I need to do to fix this problem? Floyd Shown |

Commercial mags are notorious for having problems, they are basically good for going to the range mags only, nothing that you would depend on. Most customers replace the follower and mag spring and find that they are fairly reliable. If you had any GI mags I'd check the feed lips vs. the commercial ones and see if they are similar. Sounds like the last round is being caught between the follower and feed lip. Jesse |
