I know the differences between the M4 and the LE Carbine include the following:
1. barrel 1.5" longer
2. modified lower receiver
3. larger trigger push pins and semiauto H/T/S.
4. early LE Carbines had semiauto bolts
Beyond that, does the LE Carbine use any different components?
I am curious because I want to know if I'm correct when I say "this is the same rifle that issued to the GI's, except for the barrel length, the lower receiver and the fire control mechanism. (I have an M16 bolt
). Otherwise, it has all the same components, is made on the same production line, and is not a clone or reverse engineering job"
