Just received my 22LR SS Conversion Kit today. Of course I haven't had a chance to take it to the range yet to find out my following question. Is there a quick way to look at a conversion kit and see if it is one of the new LRE conversions?

Only reason I ask is, I got the Conversion from Sportsmans Guide with a gift certificate I had laying around and it arrived in different packaging then what I see now. (Plastic fold in half-package vs the New Tube with blue ends) BUT I think it may be a newer conversion since it came with the mag that has the little tabs you must grind down on the back to fit into your magwell......or have these mags been around a while too?

Pics below of the bolt face and chamber portion......sorry for the crappy cell phone pics.

I would have to see the face of the chamber adapter where the bolt meets it. It is probably one of the newer ones with LRE.  You can find out really quickly when you go to the range and give a quick yank on charging handle.  If a round flies out you got a new one

I suspect it is what you have.

Install it in the rifle and safely cycle a few rounds.

Just want to add that I finnaly broke down, ordered one of these and slapped it into my wife's pink AR.  She wont let me have it back and its now a family favorite.  Looks like I will have to purchase yet another - and with the CMMG kit, averything has ran like a champ right out of the tube.  Mine extracts and I wasnt expecting the bolt to stay back.

Good to hear. Lots of time is being put into these to provide a 100% running conversion to you guys.
Enjoy.
