Any chance of seeing longer keymod rails from CMMG?  I am seeing a couple companies offering 9 slot, but I would love to see something 14 to 15 slot for AFGs.

Was at the Knob Creek Machine Gun shoot today. Just had to stop by and chat with the good folks from CMMG. They had a stack of these hand guards in three sizes, carbine, mid, and rifle. Of course I just had to pick one up. Full report coming...but I like....!!

I've got a couple.  The lock up is friction based (so no need to index the barrel nut), but it's still solid.  The rail itself sits flush with the upper with zero gap.  I like them a lot.  I'll try to get pics later.

They are really well designed with a practical mounting system that is strong and simple. I will be home from my "Out West" adventure in a few days and will do a step-by-step picture essay on mounting one. I like the look and feel of it and love the mounting system.  For me its a far better choice than the quad rail (which I have no use for). The Key Mod is likely to be the future. Its an open-source design that any manufacturer can make accessories for so expect to see some cool new products coming for these from many sources.

I'd love to see some more pictures of these, looking to change from the Fortis REV 14 to the RKM14.

As much as I like my Fortis 12, I think I'm jumping ship and fitting all of my uppers with this hand guard.

Glad I'm not the only one, really liked the REV until I realized it was just a Quad/Keymod hybrid and the keymod slots it has are really only good for panel covers.

I will be home from my Route 66 adventure on Wednesday and will be posting a series on this hand guard. I will have pictures comparing it to a few other hand guards including the Revo.  I will also include details on installing it.

I look forward to having these up in a couple of days. I am excited about this piece and want to get it up and running on my CMMG 300 BLK rifle.

Pretty much my thoughts.  Still nice and light, but there are better options now.

Anyone knows if there is a version for 308 (DPMS pattern)?  Thanks!

There is, they work well with SR25 and "high profile" LR308 uppers.
