I sort of fell out of following the dedicated uppers for a while. I know the fix for my problem has be covered before so I'm just looking for the info/fix, but the ST-22 semi-auto tuning guide is a dead link.
Anyways, I have a 5.5" dedicated upper with fake can. I have it tuned to feed and cycle flawlessly, except for the ejection problem. It doesn't eject very well. About 1/10 shots will eject straight up and jam between the charging handle and bolt, and 1/10 will just stovepipe or jam sideway and block the bolt from closing.
Whats the fix. Now that I got this on a SBR lower, and I may be buying a RDIAS, and building a F1 suppressor for this gun, I really want to get it tuned to run good.
Otherwise I'm just going to call it quits and cut the whole darn upper apart.
Nah, just kidding on that last one. I will replace the barrel with a longer one if I can't get it right.
