Hey all. I have one of the FM-15 rifles pre ordered and I'm pretty excited about it.
I was wondering when they might be hitting the shelves, given that FM was posting on their instagram about sending them out to Brownells. I don't know if you guys do any additional quality control or checks. I have something else I have to pick up in the area of your store this weekend so I just want to make one trip (its a couple hours). So is there any estimate when we can expect the pre- orders to be filled? |

They're in stock as of yesterday, and all the pre-orders qtys were reserved for those who ordered. They're working through them as we speak. Do you have your order number handy? PM it to me, and I'll see if I can get you more info.

How do I get the job at brownells who gets to just browse arf and look for threads to post in? --Proto3 Spoiler Alert: This is a volunteer position. |
If anyone is curious about another viewpoint on the FM-15 rifle, I put up a video on the first 150ish rounds through it.
Great rifle, especially for the $1k price point it is at. Pretty comparable to the BRN-180 in quite a few ways. Failed To Load Title |

Thank you for the review, @conda ! I'm excited to get my hands on one of these, as well. I couldn't believe how light and handy it was, and seeing the care that FM takes in their machining process was truly mind-blowing.

This reminds me a lot of the ZM Weapons rifle. I would like to see them field stripped next to each other.

Nice.

I will pass on these.
Nice review, well done! Things I do not like: It shits where it eats. All the extra height needed in handguard and upper receiver. Shouldn't low rings be used on the scope vs AR height base/rings? |

Is it made of aluminum, steel, or plastic? I noticed that it is the only thing standing between the recoil rod and your eye being launched into orbit, so curious about that (overpressure scenario..). Would be nice if it extended or keyed into the face of the lower receiver or the endplate adapter. Any issues with the elevated receiver height? Any other thoughts, feedback, developments over the past month? |

@TkFF what's your thoughts on the below?

What pattern is the Zhukov stock used on the FM? I've just read that it's an "AK" stock so I'm guessing yugo if so?

No matter how important it is, it can be taken WAY too fucking seriously.

In my opinion it's fine. It slides upward into two channels in the upper receiver, and feels very solid. I believe it is aluminum based on the weight of it. You can hear the metal on metal clink here at 1:45 as well when the punch hits it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgTRcdJftNo&t=114s

I'm really digging my FM15 pistol. Its been 100% through 500 rounds, 200 of them with a Binary Trigger. I also got some new goodies for it. I have a handguard with a charging handle closer to the receiver that gives a little more space to mound lights and other accessories, a folding charging handle and a folding buffer tube adapter. I also got some spare parts, BCG, bolt, springs and guide rod.
This is the first time I have been an early adopter of a platform where it has been this good of an experience. The gun runs great and spare parts are available. I'm glad I added this to the safe. |

Any pics? Has anybody done any slow fire accuracy/precision testing. I'm curious what it's capable of. Thanks! |

The BCG on these is very, very similar to the DRD Aptus/MPF 21.

Same story on BHO note fully catching on the last round. It would somehow always chamber a round still though, never seen that happen. Aim surplus 11.75" model. Is this what you were experiencing? Wondering if I need some more cycles to settle in or if mine may be from the group that are known to be undergassed.. |

I love everything about the rifle honestly, super handy and compact. Oh, I wish they had it in 8" 300 BO! They have a revised version coming with adjustable gas block, and the lower has a machined picatinny, not an adapter. |

Just shot mine ( FM15 G2 11.?" )for the first time last week, and I am in love with this system! Shot 75 rounds exactly ( all 5.56x45mm) of Frontier 75 grain, IMI 55 grain, and IMI M855 and the gun ran flawlessly! Accuracy was great with the 75 grain stuff, and average for the IMI ammo. Ejection was at a perfect 2 o'clock and the brass looked pretty good after inspection.. So after all this I had to order another FM15 G2, but this time the 9" with the adjustable gas Block.. Will update once picking it up tomorrow!

A 9" 300 BLK with adjustable gas would be awesome!

What's the verdict on these now?
Specifically how does this function suppressed (12.5 fixed GB), can I just change the recoil spring when running my suppressor? Can I install an adjustable GB if needed? Etc Thanks. |
