Greetings fellow firearm enthusiasts! In appreciation of the questions you've answered and the knowledge I've gained specifically from this particular forum, I will share my few moments of excitement with you. Yesterday the UPS guy dropped off a dillo-tape sealed package of goodies. For those of you that enjoy receiving gear as much as I do... we'll begin.
Much to my disappointment, the UPS guy delivered the package, clearly marked with my name an office number, to another office in the courthouse. After chasing the box down, one of the SO Deputies recognized the dillo tape and asked what I ordered. We talked several minutes about several topics. Suspense got you yet? Here's the box, a modest five pounds, likely not an OBR in a covert carry case.

I must say, the care with which my order was packaged is superb. There was no noticeable shifting of the contents when shaken violently by my six year old daughter, in an an attempt to guess what was in the box. The knife, for those wondering, is a Cold Steel which I generally carry around the house and yard when doing chores and such. The EDC knife is a SOG Flash II.

My order from LT consisted of a FUG, Index Clip/Hand Stop combination kit, and a Troy rear folding battle sight, all black in color. I went back and forth on choosing the UDE color package but figured that would be a good place to start on the next rifle.

While reading this forum will make one aware of the generosity of Mr. LaRue an his team, I was blown away with the amount of SWAG that accompanied this modest order. In no particular order, there were two bumper stickers, LT brochures/literature, a bottle of Dillo Dust (which tastes yummy according to the daughter), pocket constitution, a black dillo, AND an embroidered LaRue cap.

So, after the kids went to bed, I
played with guns installed parts! My rifle is a J&T/DoubleStar, locally made in Kentucky. It is furnished with an Elzetta light (also made in KY), the LT FUG, and the Troy rear (replacing a Magpul MBUS). The next planned purchase is an EOTech EXPS2. It is accompanied in this photo by an HK USPc chambered in .40.

Mr. LaRue, if you happen to read this, I will without a doubt be ordering from your company again and send others your direction.
