I recently bought a DD chrome bcg and am having some trouble with it- it won't completely fall into the barrel extension. I thought at first it was a problem with the bolt lugs because it falls to where they meet the barrel extension, but I took the bolt out of the carrier and it was able to fit fine. I tried the carrier by itself and it wouldn't fall all the way- I guess stopping about where it meets the gas tube? Any suggestions on what to do?
About the upper- it is a DD and was bought new as a barrelled upper with no handguard, bcg, or charging handle. I swapped the front sight post for a Troy low profile and added a Alpha rail. Then bought DD bcg and charging handle. It's got just under 500 rounds without any problems. |
