Chris, what trigger setup are you running Knights Armament rifle in the Art of the Tactical Carbine DVD?
he has been out training for the last 9 days solid so I will hit this...
Its a Knights 2 stage trigger... but it feels like a single... |
Yeah, I wouldn't of guessed it was a two stage. Thanks Travis.

Is that an EoXPS Nope! It's A Doctor Sight That Has Been "Rugged-Ized" The Design Specs State It Can Withstand Up To 5000 G-Force(s)! Prolly The Only Sight That Can Be In Such Close Proximity Of Costa's Beard And Still Hold Up! I'm Using The Larue Iron-Dot W/Burris Fast Fire - I Agree With Costa In Wishing I Were Able To Adjust The Brightness Level Manually. These Units Here Automatically Adjust,,,, |

thats a mighty big dot... but i guess its not a precision optic. its for putting holes in badguys, not one hole at 100yds.

running great I just wish I could control the sensitivity of the dot. I'm not sure if pictures have been posted of it or not, but I would like to see and know more . If thats the same one from AOTC the grip tape on the top of the slide intrigued me. Mike |

Here you go:
http://photos.imageevent.com/smglee/sh/_Q8P9242.jpg I'm not a glock man myself, but Surefire X300, and a threaded barrel (with thread protector). |
Excellent, do you know what model it is or what sights are on it?
Not sure. Looks like a 17 to me. But again I'm not a glock guy (Sig 226 / Kimber Custom II is what I run). I'd almost suggest PM'ing chris and asking.
Magpul guys,
once the Ms2 sling is released, what front attachment point have you found worked the best? I read on another forum the specific model costa was using during the shot show 09, but that post said something about it the lockjaw isn't as efficient as it could be with that AP. They said also magpul might be working on their own AP for the MS2 Just found the link... was the front AP = http://www.cqd.net/CQDFSM.php |

I'm interested in info on the Glock as well. I'm an old 1911 guy who has just started running a Glock again.
What kind of barrel is that and what other work has been done? Any work on the trigger? The trigger is the reason I dislike Glocks and favor 1911's. Everythign else on the Glock seems to be good to go. I did change out the strock plastic guide rod for a stainless one. Looking at the photo, the grip tape on the front of the slide makes a lot of sense. The finish that Glock uses is very slippery. It can make it difficult to do a press check. What suppressor does Chris use on the Glock? I would assume an AAC. |

Knowing Chris it's probably forged in the mountains of Narnia or some shit involving black magic.
That or it's a glock 17. |
The grip tape was woven from hairs of his beard he had to cut out with bolt cutters.
What about mods? I'd also love to see some close up pictures if and when you get any free time

Costa, what flash hider are you running? That looks to be a 10.5 correct?
Looks to be a 51-tooth AAC Blackout Compensator in the picture Chris posted.
ETA: It's the KAC Iconel one in the DVD. |
It is a Knights FH made of inconel that comes from the Knights PDW I believe

How much & can we order online?? |
436 dollars.
I thought these were gonna be black, it's cool, just kinda bling. |
I'm waiting for the non-inconel version that should be much less expensive since I don't have a can.
I sure wish we could read that manual. The pic of the blingy one beside the black one probably has an informative caption.
This version will only be made with Inconel, to make it out of steel would almost cost as much due to the machining. If you wait it will possibly never happen.

Chris, do you recommend the Knight's two stage trigger as a robust, reliable and rugged unit? Also, I asked in another thread what brands of lower parts kits you guys use in your rifles and if you have had any problems with broken parts? Thanks.
