I recently purchased a 6520 LGC Lower it does not use the mill-spec take down
pin with detent and spring. It has small hole unlike my SP1. My question is does anyone
know where to purchase a take-down pin that is small dia. and with a single screw
right side is made to fit lower fence enhacement. I've seen them listed somewhere but
can't remember where. Thanks for any assistance....

Have you tried SAW?

Here's a link to their page, www.sawlesales.com/

Look through the Colt Rifle Parts section

although you'll have to scroll the parts list to find one. I'd bet its there

Good luck

I don't know if this is what you are takhing about, but I bought a takedown pin for my Colt from DSA.  I think they have two models.  One for the large hole Colts and the one I have for the small hole Colts.  I like it.  It is different, but it works.

Shoot, I would have traded you one of those 2 piece style pivot pin straight across for your mil-spec captive style pin. Do you want to sell you mil-spec pivot pin? Is it a Colt part?

I've got one off of my Colt R6601, I replaced it with a standard (.125") Mil-Spec pin.  Is yours drilled for a standard pin?  Drain hole in mag fence is a good indication.

What's holding it together now?

Even if your mag fence is not drilled for the pivot pin sping and detent, it's no big deal to have it done. I had a local ARFcom member drill one of my R6830s to accept the spring and detent. Turned out just fine.

Thats an idea BOOMER but with my luck I'd drill the hole to deep and have to look
for a longer spring! Na, want to keep all orginal. To previous post as stated I pur-
chased LE lower all alone from P.D. take-offs. Does not have drain hole, solid forge.
