Thanks for the info! Hey Clastac - you're going to want to look at the Viper. The Venom sits about 1.4 mm higher than the Viper, and would be too high. -RJ Many thanks RJ! I ordered the Viper a couple of days ago, and a regular 9L ported CORE today (gave up on waiting for the 2.0). Talked with a John from Vortex CS, and he said that I need to use the #5 plate, #3 screws, and put some electrical tape between the Viper battery and the plate and I should be good to go. What used to take months and cost a small fortune, now costs about half what it did, and can be completed in an evening by the average customer. Will post pics when completed. Thanks again! |

4/26 Update.. Both arrived. Put them together and it was off to the range.
