I bought a BCG from Bravo on Sept 17th.  I received it ok, it looked great and installed it in my Windham AR.  It seemed a bit stiff but it functioned ok.  I put a couple of hundred rounds through over two trips to the range and when I broke it down for a thorough cleaning the other I noticed unusual wear on the extractor and in the interior where the cam pin is.  I have two other BCG’s from other rifles that do not show this kind of wear after several hundred rounds.   I have attached pic’s of what I am talking about.   I reached out to Bravo already (haven't heard back but it is the weekend).  I wanted to see if anyone here has seen this kind of wear, is this normal or do I need to get a replacement?

Hmm... 100 views and not a single response.  Oh well... Bravo did return my email this morning.  They said to contact them if there was a malfunction.   A bit disappointed, for $190 I want it to be damn near perfect.  I think I will replace the extractor and spring and see if the problem persists.

I'm not an armorer, but I don't see anything to be concerned about. I pulled mine apart this morning. It has less than 1000 rounds through it and there is wear around the extractor, and a few other spots. The weapon still fires flawlessly. If there's a malfunction due to manufacturing, rest assured BCM will make it right.

Well, happy ending.  Sent back the BCG on the 16th, and I got a replacement on my doorstep this morning.  I guess they agreed that there was a problem with the bolt and/or carrier.  The new one is much smoother.  Cant wait to install it and get to the range..,.. Thanks Bravo.

Shame, there was absolutely nothing wrong with your old BCG.

How you guys even notice this shit is beyond me.

I disagree.  It was sticking and it was expensive.  I would rather get it fixed or replaced than wait for the malfunction.
