hey Vic..  do all the L4 G24's have this feature?..
the 14 works perfectly w/ the rhino and j, but.. not w/ the wilcox's '24 and arm..  i can throw it down the driveway and it "won't shut off"
i saw the booklet even mentions it(if the nvg has the capability)(mine does). just strange why it won't.. unless it's not made to

i saw the laminated card when i picked up the arm and saw the G02 magnet plug and was "like alllllright" then i was like "aw maaaaan" when i saw Wilcox doesn't even list the part.  ..may this part be needed by chance? and are any available anywhere if so?...

Thanks Guys...

The standard Wilcox PVS14 Arm does not allow for auto-off.  This was specifically requested by certain units in the SOF community who did not like their 14's shutting off automatically because of the possibility for accidental shut-off.  Auto-Off works with a magnet that tells the system to shut off when inverted.  It can be tricked into thinking it is upside down when shooting from non-standard positions like urban prone or when leaning over a wounded team mate, prisoner, radio, etc.  These are bad times for your NVG's to shut off.  So, Wilcox listened to what the operators wanted and cut out the auto shutoff.

But, they also realize that some guys want the On/Off Switch, so they developed an arm that will allow this.  We sell it, but have not had a chance to get it on our website yet (very busy around here).

It is $195.00

You can call in your order.
