I have a CZ P07 with the factory threaded barrel. The barrel is somewhat skinny (about .560) but I have not had any baffle strikes yet. The problem is that they didnt put a thread relief between the threads and the shoulder. In fact, when you thread the suppressor or thread protector on, you can feel a little resistance as the piston threads over the last thread. I think it may be pulling the can off center slightly. Eventually I know this is going to cause an endcap strike, at the very minimum.
My new P09 has the same diameter barrel, but a much better thread job, and it feels far better. Can you guys add the relief to the threads that are already on the P07 barrel and true the shoulder for me? In the picture below, you can see the good P09 setup vs. the older P07 thread job.
Also, can you true the face of a suppressor piston where it touches the barrel shoulder, or is that too short for your lathes?
