You'll probably be one of the first to bore scope a mid/high round count .260 tOBR barrel. I would think both throat and port erosion will occur faster than the 7.62s. In today's edition of ".260 related stuff that may cause you to spend money," brownells must be closing out all of their .260 Tikkas. The regular CTRs are $771 and $871 for the carbon and stainless models before any code-based discounts or other stuff.

@FRBaseball
On pg 21 you list a load with 42.2grs of RL16 pushing a 140g Nosler CC. On page 64 you tested your new 18" replacement barrel with 42.2grs of RL16 but pushing a 123g Nosler CC. Is it correct that you're using 42.2grs of the RL16 with both projectiles? |

Got out this weekend to Utah. Guns shot good and company was tolerable. The new Hensoldt spotting scope is a winner. The first 3 rounds out of the 260 flew pretty remarkably.

Yeah, Utah is nice. The ABM ammo was actually 300wm. 230gr.
It really does well at range. I am still shooting my 130 TMK load. It has been fantastic for function and precision. |

It also says it's 9.8% compressed in the cartridge and produces a velocity of 2867fps. |
