anyone know what a snubnose colt python 357 mag, with a 2 inch barrel in fair condition is worth? I have only seen one, other then mine and the older man was asking 1500$ no less.

Today, probably a good $800.00.
I saw a NIB 6" for $1200, asked about it and he said collectors will give that.

Last Mesquite show, there was one for $750 on a dealers table. Blue and in real good shape. pawn shop in keller had 1 for $850, blue in real good shape..At Market Hall they were around $ 900, so market varies depending on local....Pike

Right I knew what you meant but the longer are sometimes more looked for due to hunting or an occasional secutiry guard, usually OLDER, that wants a wheel gun. The Colt is a great firearm but a little large to hide very easy..Great gun just a limited market..Try a larger show, Houston market hall maybe Pasadena for more of a higher end market...pike

go to cabelas during the week, (when they're not busy); have them look at their used gun inventory nationwide at the rest of their stores. You'll be suprized.
