I tried to justify getting one by telling the wife I'd get her one, the extra $60 ($30 per phone) a month for the data plans is a deal killer.

My wife was against it also but the buy one get one free was what sold it.Besides if she doesnt like it she can switch to her old phone and drop the data package. We have had them for a few hours and she loves it.Verizon does not charge you if you decide you dont want the droid and drop the data plan.

I picked up my Droid when I got back. Loved it. IMHO, much better than an iPod and immaMac... but the Droid does it all too. Touchpad keyboard is great and the interconnectivity I have with everything is awesome.

The only thing I have not figured out is how to send a ringtone straight from my Droid
