Hmmm, And just like you, we have opinions too. I was asked a few weeks ago, why am I not a paying member to this site. Well, here is your reasons. 1. Site is always down. 2. Slow as crap(Faster now with the new software, and I am on broadband) 3. Confusing navigation. 4. Ongoing repairs just like I10 freeway(Never finished or working right) 5. Being told to get with the program everytime something is wrong(paying and none paying members) This is a great site with lots of info. Just needs a few(more) real admins that either knows what they are doing, or admit they need more help and get some. |

You do understand how this site is maintained, who maintains it, thier skill levels, thier occupation, the funding and the cost invovled, right? I would really suggest you think before opening your mouth on this issue. TRG |

I think you missed my point.
This is a great site, but over the past few month which I have been here, the site has gone down atleast 4 times and twice for long durations. Which is something I dont need to complain about since the site is "FREE". My comments are directed at these by ilikelegs
It simply implies that even a paying member cant ask for improvement on the site? |

Who the hell said anything about if you pay or not? Do you see that anywhere in my post? It doesn't imply anything other than who ever is bitching needs to shut the fuck up and deal with it until Goatboy has it running smooth again. That was my post to the general public not just one person.  I even added a smiley face, which is not needed in the pit, so people would know I was rubbing them.

Cool, Everyone of us has to deal with this as well. But the threads just get a little tiring after a while. Plus what the pit forum is there just to cause trouble which is why I wrote it there.

a. To upgrade to have more features for the members. So it takes time. b. Mother nature occurances: Nothing you can do about these.

Well, I don't see any problems here. Since there are a lot of features in this site, it's always a good idea to recon/look around first to see what this site offers before jumping into it.
I'm sure after I10 is completely finished, you love to drive on it, right? Then as time goes on, due to weather, there will be pot-holes and deteriorations, then they will fix them again.
Not me. Just try to explain to you "the whys" and give you an idea that either the adminstrator, owners,...works VERY HARD to keep everything running smoothly.
Since 'this is a great site with lots of info.', then waiting a little longer shouldn't be a problem.  BTW, I would say all these to any members in this site, non-donating or donating members alike. You can also visit www.pre-ban.com as an alternate site when ARFCOM is down. Edited for board code. |
