A thousand apologies.  I didn't see the real sidearm only a plastic training tool.  I stand corrected.

And yes, the Taylor bourbon is awesome.  Look for Jefferson Ocean and Pritchard Double Barrel on your next shopping trip as well.

Forget the sidearms. This thread is going bourbon.............NOW!

I just got a bottle of Willett bourbon today. I have been trying to get a bottle of Willett Rye for the past 6 months. Every time I stop at the package store I ask about the rye. No rye yet, but the bourbon just arrived, first time in a long while.

I recently finished a bottle of the Colonel Taylor. I was disappointed. Don't get me wrong, it was nice, but that is all I can say about it. To me it just lacked character.

I have been sipping on a bottle of Breckenridge Bourbon. It creeps up on you, starts out subtle, but finishes nice and sweet.

Lately I have expanded my taste to Rye whiskey. I have a bottle of Bullet Rye and a bottle of Sazerac Rye. The Sazerac comes from the same distillery as Poppy's.

We need a bourbon night!

Sazarac Rye is damn good.  I use Bulleit Rye for Manhattans.  Found those damn Luxardo cherries at Avon Prime Meats.  $23 a jar.  Damn.

Check Stew Leonards for Willet Rye.  They carry Willet all the time and at state minimum price.

But there can be only one...or three in this instance (actually six overall)

I have 3 bottles of the Pappy's tucked away for special occasions.

I have searched all over for the Willett rye, even on line nobody has it. I talked with the rep from the distributor, he say's they may not see it until late summer/ early fall. The problem is the distillery. Willett's is a small distiller and bottling company, you just never know when they will release a new bottle.

I don't drink Pappy's. I just hide it in the closet. On special occasions it comes out as a decoration on the bar, kinda like showing off. If I drank it I wouldn't have any.

Roughly $500 for 25 Thermolds.  I later read that the PD held onto the turned in AR mags rather than destroy them.  So they are still "on the street".

Work.

Deliciousness.

Amazingness. This is not trick photography or anything. Its called a sundog, granted, this one is obnoxiously strong and rare. What it looks like in the picture, its exactly as we saw it in person, probably one of the coolest things these eyes have ever seen. I was nearly certain our sun was exploding and we were about to be vaporized by a ginormous proton beam. I called my girlfriend - "Babe, I don't know what Im looking at, but I love you. Theres a pic incoming, if we live that long." She's just like, "thats nice hun, less overtime next week, huh?" hahaha I have a video Ill try and post up, you can see three full circle rainbows around the sun, it was amazing. Amazing.

We will need a fire Marshall so Cav doesn't burn the pig.

Can you handle the job without walking into any screen doors?

The Buffalo Trace is one of my  regular bottles. A lot of bang for the buck. There are better bottles out there, but for the price you can't beat it. I can pick it up in New Hampshire for $22 a bottle.

It's time we start the FF's militia. There are more that 2 of us on here. I am just a few miles north of the Wolcott militia. I see a raiding party in the near future, we can take over.
