So for those of you in the Portland area this is I’m sure this will not come as a shock, but it is always interesting to see it first hand. Today, about an hour ago, I was driving on Broadway past the Washington Park and heard some yelling I mean right outside my window. I look over and see this black guy snatching a hand bag from this lady standing right next to here boyfriend I’m guessing. He takes off at top speed with the lady and guy friend right behind her. I was in fact quite shocked at what I had just witnessed. While running through the square they were yelling and was quite obvious what had happened. Since I was in my car I did not get the opportunity to watch the aftermath of the whole situation. The amazing thing was that this guy did it in a crowded place where anyone that wanted to could just trip this douche bag or help in someway. I only hope that is what happened. This only makes me realize that even though we think that we are safe, there is always some ass hole waiting to take what is ours. I really wish I had been not in my car or somewhere I could pull over and jump out. I guess occurrences of this type would be less common if concerned citizens took action when they see crap like this happen. I only wish if any of us would have been there we would have done something to stop that guy from getting away and help protect ourselves by serving our fellow citizens in these situations.

Not surprising from that crap hole town and especially in that area. Just one more reason never to live up there again.

That being said I am sure that the majority of us here would have at least tripped the douche bag then put a knee in his neck until the popo arrived.

totally off topic, but about tripping d-bags. I was at a show at the Crystal ballroom, the show was over and it was the mass exodous down the tiny stairwell. right when we were around the corner from the stairs this guy comes running through the crowd pushing and hitting anyone in his way and yelling "I'm gonna shit my pants. I'm gonna shit my pants". Right as this guy ran by my buddy with out a word proceeds to kick the guy's right leg behind his left and down he went sliding into 2nd. It was one of the funniest mother-f-ing things i have ever seen.

But i digress, it still pisses me off that crap like what you saw happens. I am sick of crime. I am sick of crap like that. wish we could make target practice out of dicks like that. save me money on targets.
