In the 4 years I've been here, I have never seen or heard of Ed sr. asking or posting for donations to someone. If he is going to the extent of asking people to help someone then you know this person needs the help.

Please read the thread and consider helping.

Thanks Guys. I've had to deal with Ed sr. just to try to get him to take a $5.00 gift. Let me tell you that was a bit uncomfortable arguing with him, so when I saw this, I knew it was important to him.

Guys, it is important to know that the person needing help is 82ndAbn. Please see his response in the tacked thread in GD. 82nd is one of the good guys. Please help him. If you can only offer prayers, that will be good too.

Well that explains some things he said to me last year then. I had the great oppertunity to work with 82nd on the Challenge coin project. He is a very proud man, and stubborn as a mule.

Which explains why Ed sr. had to due due this they way he did.

Thank You guys for sending the money. Chuck is a great guy, and I hope everyone has the chance to meet or at least talk to him sometime, he is definitely someone that you remember.
