This week I turned in a couple of 1911 slides to be worked on by Wholesale guns in Santee.  They quoted me $140 for a Bomar low mount installation and $120 to cut dovetail for a front sight.  Are they this good to charging this much?  I had King's gunworks work on my other pistols for less.  Has anybody have any experiences with them?

those prices seem very high. if kings is cheaper that should tell you something. kings is a nationally known gunsmith.
