Ok, here's a report from the show as I just got back.

FUG!  Only 1 guys seems to understand that the ban is dead!  I saw table after table after table of "pre-ban" ARs of every description for anywhere from $1000 to $2200!  The $2200 was Bushmaster M4 type.  You know, the same one you can buy for $800 now.  I saw a blue mk 1 Cav Arms 20" naked bbl, no lug for $875.  The same HK USP mags that CDNN is selling for $19 I saw all over the place for around $80!

"pre-ban" AKs were all over the place ranging from $600 to $1800!  LE marked AR mags were about $24/ea on average.

All in all it was a bust.

Save the $6

Same impressions here. I saw better deals on mags the show before the ban's death.

That blue Cavarms has been at every Tanner and Crossroads for the last year. FWIW.

I picked up a phantom and some probably-expired MREs. Save your money.

The funny thing is that I built a no ban version of it on a MK II receiver for about $500 out of pocket!

I agree that there were still some guys that didn't get the message, but I must have delved a little deeper- I got some new 30 rd mags,Centers, including 1 desert tan one, for $14 ea. Saw plenty of $30 ones too, that they're going to drag around for a while.... There were a couple tables full of $15-$18 ones. One guy had about a jillion used 20 rounders for about $16, I think, but I just bought new Colt ones last week. Lots of $8-900 ARs, lots of uppers and lowers, a couple guys with RRA stuff that I haven't seen around here before. I may go back tomorrow and get a lower for the orphan DPMS upper that I keep swapping around. This was the best show I've been to in a long time- Beanies, beef jerky, and hokey jewelry were at a minimum, and the hate literature was absent. And I'm going to win that ArmaLite AR-50 with my $10 ticket.

The show sucked, my friend and I got into an argument with the guy who had the blue Cav Arms about the $50 glock 22 mags he had.  He said that if the ban goes back on we could be arrested if we had LEO only mags from CDNN.  We saw the same "preban" rifles (used) for $2100.  What a deal!
Which one of you guys was wearing a blue AR15.COM shirt?  I saw you outside the front door.

I bought some new AR LEO 20's for $20 and I got some of the nice "Argentine" M1A mags for $19.

Eventually the new production mags will drive prices down.

I think I will go again in December.

Were those 20 rounders from the DPMS guy?  I did manage to get a couple of Beretta 92 military mags new for 12 each.  All in all I thought the show was a bust.
