.50's seem to sell like hotcakes here but I never see anyone shooting them.   If anybody is interested, I have found a 750yd "range" just a little further up the road from where the ARFcom shoot was.    It's not a whole lot of fun with snow on the ground but when it melts and the ground is still wet, I plan on having some tracer and incendiary fun.   I did shoot once in Dec. but setting up targets is a real bitch with the snow cover.   When it melts it is an easy walk.

I have one that I need to sight in because the scope came loose while shooting it. I think the new owner would like to have it sighted in when he finally pays up.

I'VE got one.  We shot a ton of 50's at the last shoot.......I went through like 20 rounds.

Ultralight here.
Have a couple hundred rounds of tracers, spot tracers and inc rounds.

Have a local buddy that has a place we can shoot out to 1000 with car size boulder at just under a mile.

When it drys up a bit I am sure he would let the 50s come up and play.

A day late and a dollar short, but I have a left handed Armalite.  You never see anyone shooting them?  We had a few at the shoot and I am constantly shooting mine when I am able (much to the dismay of my wallet...).  Give it time, one of these days we'll have a ma-deuce at a shoot... hopefully it won't be me since I know feeding that beast would send me to bankruptcy...

Well, I figure you guys would have more fun shooting up your old washing machine at close range, but I'm more interested in some friendly competition at 750yds.   Just farting around with "fun" ammo is cool too.   It pretty cool to watch a .50 tracer go to 750yds.   They get there in a hurry and the ones I shot were very bright with 100% reliability so far.

Spot tracers on rock cliffs accross a canyon are pretty neat too!

Would love to punch some paper once I get some decent glass on my stick.
