A friend is thinking about selling his Desert Eagle, but there aren't many listed online to help determine how much he could expect to get for it. There's a .44 version in the EE for $950 right now, and gunbroker doesn't have one like this either.

Anyone know what he'd likely get for this? Only about ten rounds fired through it, and that was earlier this month.

I'm purty sure he'd turn that down.

And a Coke? He may want a Coke with that.

After much talk and research, he's asking $1,150 for it.

Betting he is going to be sitting on that for a bit. I don't hear many folks looking for one of those.

Is he really looking to move it or just if the money is right???

If so, he might think about consignment or maybe listing it on Gun Broker or something of the sort.
That would net him a larger audience for potential buyers than word of mouth.

Only if the money is right. He's getting into revolvers now, and this would just be spending money. He doesn't have any real *need* to sell it.

If the barrel wasn't so damn ugly it would sell quicker.

This time of year, I would expect that deer hunters would like that for Alternative season.

I keep eyeballing this, thinking if the barrel was cut down, it would look like the pistols from Deadpool.

Think he'd have any interest in a S&W Model 27 or 29 from 1978/1980 since he's getting into revolvers?

I will check.

Looks like he's not interested in those. Sorry.
