I think 24 hours is an acceptable amount of time to approve my stamp since it only takes a minute for an ffl to get a proceed.

I find myself searching for my next project already.  I fear the sickness will only worsen once it is approved.

This will become my first...  (old pic)

I am as giddy as a German Midget eating Cheetos with Eric10mm!!!

E-filed form 1 on 9-2
Approved today, 10-9

Sorry for the crappy pics but you get the idea!  I already know what my next two form ones will be.  The sickness, I have it.

CMMG Dedicated lower
Rainier Arms Upper minus forward assist
8" Barrel threaded 1/2 x 28
Rainier Arms Mini comp drilled out

I've been logging in to eforms daily and looking. I know, they'll email me. I don't care. I WANT IT NOW.

I just had a can come into a dealer on a form 3 that took about 10 weeks. Now the real fun will begin with the form 4.

Why not a Sig Brace and avoid the stamp?

Because I can slide the stock in and let the kids shoot it pull it out a couple notches and the wife can shoot it and all the way out for me. And the brace isn't a stock, I don't care how people use it but it's like getting out the pliers on a rusty nut instead of grabbing the correct box end wrench. Will it work? Maybe but it always ends up with some cussing.  And I have a trust so the stamp wasn't a whole lot more than the brace

Because you are already 80% of the way to a stamp with the Sig Brace.

Thats like just putting the tip in just to see what its like.

Go all out or go home.

Forgive my ignorance....

Why not make a pistol in .556, get proficient with it, and have it at the ready?

Does the buffer tube really kick that hard against your body?

Is it legal to 'shoulder' it while firing ?

??? I assume your asking the question, why make an sbr???

I have no interest in a 5.56 pistol.

No, the buffer tube does not "kick hard".

Yes, it is legal to shoulder a pistol or an sbr.

As to why I made an sbr vs. keeping it as a pistol...  That was always my intention.  I only built it as a pistol to use until I got off my ass and made a trust.

Sounds good to me. Thx for the info. I have never looked into the AR platform for anything other than a carbine.

Lots I am missing I see.

Lol..  Check out the AR15 pistol forum.  Lots of interesting things going on there.  I know plenty of guys in MO build an AR pistol so they can use it during alternative methods deer season.

Hell, I get out in the woods enough with bow, rifle, muzzle loader...

The AR pistol would accompany me in my vehicle with a lot less hassle than an SBR ...
