Im considering a remington 700 sps tactical with a heavy barrel and a nice scope....estimated liquied assests approx. $1700. Any ideas or suggestions a stay clears?

The rifle is fine a fair price depends on the specific scope and mounts.

what calliber? 338 or 308?

308 caliber only because I don’t know better and believe that comparably the 308 is easier to get......more common!

For the last year, .308 has been occasioonally cheaper than .223

I've been drooling over that rifle for about a year, but keep putting it off for lowers...That with a Trijicon Accupoint and I would be set...
