Any recommendations on places to store a handgun for less than a week near the New York border?  Coming from Colorado, will be on I-90 through Ohio / Pennsylvania into New York.  I was thinking of post office boxes or something similar (bus station locker came to mind ) - any good suggestions?  Worst case is I bring it out and mail it back to myself, but then I don't have it for the return trip.

Want to stay away from an FFL (don't want to do paperwork to get it back) and I need someplace that's open on weekends / at night.  

Any ideas are appreciated.

contact UPS store to see if you can store a package in a box you rent.

Call a storage unit place and see what their cheapest storage option is...

There are several storage companies in Erie. I don't know what they would charge for a week.
