So me and the Wife are looking at possibly moving down to Texas and I am currently looking at Law Enforcement jobs around Dallas. We are looking to fly down the weekend of the 13th of September. Is there any arfcomers up to showing us around. If you have kids that would even be a bonus. I have 4 and they will not be happy leaving their friends behind so getting some positive feed back to tell the kids will be important. Not to mention the feedback about how awsome Texas is to the Wife.

We have a state wide forum that is filled with people in the DFW area...some of which are AFcon memebers as well as Law Enforcement. http://www.texasguntalk.com/forums/ I'm in Dallas all the time but live in West Texas...we're looking for a home in Dallas our selves. One of the main reasons we're entertaining the idea of Dallas is there is more to do for all of us including our 6yr old. They actually have a magazine filled with things just for small kids to do in Dallas. Both Dallas and Ft Worth. Arlinton is crazy fun for teenagers and above. They have: water parks, Six Flags over Texas, Texas Ranger baseball, and the new Cowboys stadium. We love spending a lot of time over in Grapevine, it's always festive. We did a Chocolate tasting there once and took our son to meat Thomas the Train once. I'm not even going to get into the shopping...just keep an eye on your wife and the credit cards lol Anyhow, I know I'm missing something but hopefully that will help. Ray |
