Attended the Springfield gun show today at the fairgrounds. Found a pocket holster for my new Kimber Solo and picked up a few boxes of SD ammo to test it out later at the range. One gun I passed on was a mint condition M-29 S&W with the 8 3/8" barrel. Early 80s model and the blueing was nearly perfect. It looked to have been fired very little and was mechanically perfect. Old codger had a price of $900 on it. I asked him what his best cash price would be and he said, "$875."  I would have paid $700 for it but when he only came down $25 I just walked away.
Otherwise, lots of ARs and a few decent AKs. Prices were high on both though. |
Yep; I was up there Saturday too. Picked up some ammo and a couple gadgets for my AR but even they were a little higher than I'd have liked. 
I think I saw you Wheelchairman....but I didn't want to be that guy that walks up and says "Hey aren't you ...?" Hahaha...just would have been bad form |

I also tried to buy a very rough Police Trade In Beretta 92F with one mag off a guy and he wouldn't go below $425. I thanked him for his time |

haha I wouldn't have cared. I guess I should have worn the arfcom hat or tshirt to blow my cover. That's not a bad idea...maybe we should make it a rule for the HTF folks to wear some sort of ARfcom logo for easy recognition at these events. With a "Hi, My name is...."sticker

You guys suck I dont even go anymore. Stupid ass ex-wife usually work for RK. We dont get along ( HA HA biatch!!! I still got em ) It's easier for me to just not go than deal with her crap. Kinda sucks as I always enjoy lookig at stuff and I wont waste my time or money going to another Metcalf show. So once agine, YOU GUYS SUCK!!!

| I have no idea! I used to help work gunshows for a guy out of Lebanon who put them on against the RK crew. She was a vendor at our shows a few times and we had alot of fun messin with her. I'd randomly go within 30ft and yell " You dirty old man" just to watch about 10 guys try to act like I wasn't talking to them! |

Did anybody else notice the two gorgeous Egyptian girls selling the surplus 9mm. I nearly bought some but a google search told me not to. Sucks too, I wanted some facetime with them.
