Are they good? I'd like to know if any of you have one of the tactical models or know who has and if they are really good as leupys or nightforces. Cheers! |

Just Say No. The SA scopes are made by Hakko. Search snipercountry.com snipershide.com and google, you'll see that many folks that did longe range competitions or training with them had the scopes go to pieces. Ya get what you pay for. My money goes to premierreticles.com for their GenII mildot conversions on Leupold Longe Range scopes. Of course there's USOptics, Schmidt-Bender, Zeiss.... don't buy a cheap scope, you'll only have to buy a replacement for it soon after. |

I've heard the lower end SA scopes are junk. Go over to www.m-14forum.com, or check out www.battlerifles.com and read the feedback on the SA stuff. I was suprised to find that the SA scopes are such piles. Get a Leupold, or something that's better for the money. Just my opinion. Andy |

My whole family loves my III Generation mil-dot. My son could only afford a II mil-dot and all agree that the glass is not as clear which makes pinpoint shooting impossible. I highly recommend the SA III Gen scopes; Get one you will not be disappointed. The I-II Gen’s are not worth spit in my book. |

All, thanks for the replies. I guess I'll pass this one and continue the search for the leupy. My "wish list" includes a side focus/paralax, illuminated reticles and mil-dots in a relatively "small package". So far the only ones I found including these features are the leupies and nightforces. Cheers! |
Are you going to the FOP shoot? If so, then I would be glad to let you take a look at my Night Force. You can fire some rounds to see how you like them. ARH |
