There is a bug around here called a sewing beetle. It looks like the BIGGEST, BADDEST MF'n hornet in the world and if you don't know what it is, you will run like a little girl when you see one. They are harmless. I tried to google "image" a pic of it to show someone from Colorado what one looks like but that was a bust. What other/proper name does it go by for googling?

I'm pretty sure H.P. Lovecraft didn't base his books on a big scary looking beetle...  I don't think the old gods would be impressed.

I was told it's called a sewing beetle. doesn't look like one. It flies, is yellow and black like a hornet and has a stinger looking thing on it's tail the size of a sewing needle. 4" long overall.
