Just thought I would let all the Illinois guys who are members at the club, we will be there Friday morning around 10am, until ? on the 25 meter. The old road is closed and the new one is open.

Is this a members only shoot? Please let us lowly non-members know. I have to see how my new 14.7" "SOCOM barrel stands up to sustained rapid fire. "The old road is closed and the new one is open." Why?, that old one was real nice. |

Just got back from overseas but have been lurking around for the past year. I want to catch up with the blastfests, and have heard of this secret range. Might be interested, ifsomeone can PM me some information on it.

i would appreciate any info on this as well. i am looking to test out my new rig setup and want to know if it works. i also need some help zero'ing my carbines. haven't had to do it before.

If anyone here is interested in going to the club feel free to email me direct for directions and I will check them tonight when I get home from work. I would love to bring a few new guests in. The club is in Racine WI. , private club, but lots of fun. Either contact Marksman, Cosmic, or myself for more info. I will try to check emails during the day.

Man, I really feel like playing hookey from work tomorrow. Arrrg! And the one last weekend fell through. Well, I will come up with some excuse and see if the boss goes along with it! What time tomorrow are you guys talking about? This is an outdoor range, no? What kind of targets? Paper or anything and everything? I think I got the directions from a prior post a long time ago. |

Hey, is that offer for a half-a-case or a case of ammo still good? I can buy at least half a case off you tomorrow in cash. BTW, I am coming from downtown Chicago and definitely driving, so if you wanted to carpool hit me with an IM.
Actually only shot it once and only about 30 rounds [I was at Gun World but these Naval Academy Cadets (or something -- they were like 12-14 yrs old) showed up and were doing their qualifers on the lane next to me and shot out the string on my target return! All the lanes were full so I said: "Ah the hell with it" and left.] But everything seemed to be working a-ok and I am quite pleased with the purchase. |

I am going to be at the Gander MTN, in Kenosha off HWY 50 and 94 to meet some people there around 9am-915am. Look for a Maroon and silver Chevy 2500. in the outer end of the parking lot. Meet us there if you want to follow us in

I had a great time, I could only stay a little over two hors, but it was still enough time to burn through about 500 rounds of 5.56 and 200 9mm. The full auto MP5helped me get rid of ammo faster than my Sig. I didn't get to bench my new barrel, but when I did my part it was dead on shooting at small targets at about 75 yards(?).
I owe a big thanks the Batch114 and all of the members there. I was just thinking the other day that I wish I could join one of these clubs and pay a little more rather than put in time, and as it turns out they do have that option. I just need to save my pennies until next spring. I left/lost a AR carry handle with A2 sights up there. I hope someone comes across it. |

Thanks for the invite guys, it was truly a fun time. it is a very very very nice range and truly worth it to be a member if i was planning on moving to northern IL/southern WI.
