Now or at some time later? A trip to the coast to Westport might be more fruitful. A bit of a drive, but the cost of the charter will likely be less, and you will likely get more fish. If you should choose to head to Westport, I bank a number of very good charter boats in Westport. I also know two good charter boats in the central sound. Just let me know your timing. |

Long-time friend of mine runs a very reasonable charter out of Bremerton/Port Orchard on Thursdays and Sundays for individuals or any day if you are bringing a group. Rates are $95-110 per person. The Cap (Randy Jones) knows the Sound like no one else. You would have to walk on the Bremerton Ferry (very cheap going and free upon return) then catch the charter in Bremerton after an hour long ferry ride.
