I love 10/22's. I have one that I bought for $139 about 12 years ago which was a good price then, so you can see price hasn't really changed much. And I have a K10/22-22 a stainless steel version with a 22" barrel that was I think $209 at Walmart.

Standard blued 10/22's are about $170 give or take a few dollars.

Davidson's is running a deal on them right now, but I don't know what they run new... Anyone know what Wally-World sells them for?

Hmm... What type of 10/22?  Stock type/barrel length?

DUDE.....YOU AGAIN!!!  Look, how about I take you to Desertmoon's school of Ruger 22 disassembly.....I've been teaching it since I was like TEN.  I swear, you'll actually learn some respect for that old Bastard, Bill Ruger.  I despise the man's politics but his sheer inventive genius in the firearms world concerning 22's has yet to be parallelled.  I hve worked on more 22's than I ever care to remember and lemme tell ya, Bill Ruger's guns are BY FAR the easiest to detail strip, customize, accurize and tune.  PERIOD!

Seriously, you ever wanna learn Rugers....IM me.

The 10/22's bolt handle and spring setup annoys the hell out of me.  But once it's back together, life is good.

Even the Mark I/II/III pistols, while annoying, get easy after you figure them out.

They come apart easy, they go together easy, and the DO NOT SUCK.

EXACTLY! The 10/22 is one of the easiest to maintain. I have completely taken mine down at least 20 times. I customised it with aftermarket parts and learned very quickly how everything went together. If your having trouble you might want to read your manual it's pretty cut and dry.
