Hey guys,

Im wanting to get into reloading. Where is a good place to get reloading stuff? I want to reload .380, .40, .45, and 7.62x39. Some say its cheaper to reload your own, some say its not. What the general opinion? Any info would be off great help to a beginer. Im in Cabot by the way.

I think Gander Mtn carries reloading supplies,  as well as Ft Thompsons, from what I've heard.    Things are slim down in the Hot Springs area.  Pak Plaza carries a few reloading supplies.  I've just started reloading myself and looking for places to buy supplies.   I'm only loading .223 and .50 beowulf for now.  Small rifle primers are the hard thing to come by these days.

I reload beowulf with a lee single stage. $75 for the kit. You can get dies for any caliber for maybe $60. Slow, but you learn the ropes. I'll upgrade one day.

Reloading is definitely cheaper if you shoot regularly.  Take a look at the reloading forum in the armory section.  The forum resources at the top of the page will answer most of your questions.

get yourself a good single stage press and a good reloading book. its alot of learning but in the end its worth it if you use alot of ammo but if you use just a few at hunting time its not worth it. you can save lots of cash by getting stuff at gun shows. the one thing you dont want to save money on is the scales. get a decent set of scales and a good powder measurer

A single stage is great to learn the basics, but if you are looking to load high quanities and less time loading,  look at getting a progressive loader.  Preferably from Dillon.  You won't regret it.

Of course you are.  I would like to know why.  I for one couldn't imagine being without one.

First thing you need is a few Reloading Manuals....
Read the first few chapters carefully, and then decide what you really need.
