Pretty much the same, all have barrels made from Border blanks, chambered in .223 Rem RRA type stocks and Cav Arms M4 handguards and Accuracy Speaks FSB's

Nice collection of barrels! I have half as many as you do, but they are all on weapons or extra uppers.

I don't suppose your lot is permitted to import them from the States...

Yes it's possible.
It's a lot easier for us to import than you to export.

Blanks are easier than finished barrels but that's all down to the interpretation of your State Dept

Mark, Quick question, I have only ever used flat topped AR's in the past and was wondering, with the carry handle and a scope mounted to that, would it give the hieght to roll your head over the stock and use the scope with your left eye?

I ask because I'm left-eyed and right-handed and gave up many years ago trying to teach myself to shoot left handed on anything other than prone or bench'd and even then I HATE it.

Cheers

No, it can't be done.
You'll just have to change your eye dominance

It's not an eye dominance issue, it's optic nerve damage. lenses/glasses don't work as there nothing wrong with lens in my eyeball its the nerve path way between my eye and brain thats broke

I close my left eye and nearly go blind, so patching won't work either.

I've seen guys cranking their heads over rifle stock in the past and wonder if you could do it with an AR.

Are you saying it can't be done or shouldn't be done?

Try it and see if it works for you, or try shooting left handed, works for me

Not saying it can't be done. It probably can with the correct height scope rings.
Never seen it done though.
You could mount the scope alongside.
The Garand M1D sniper rifle had the scope mounted alongside.
You can see what I mean in the following pic

I understand as I have a similar problem, and like scope eye learnt to shoot lefty.  And that's why I love my AR.   Bolt guns are a bugger unless off a rest / bipod.  I am so used to it now shouldering a gun on the right feels wrong.

But I shot pistol right handed

It shoots like the best ammo you can homeload.

It extracts no problem.

Currently it's not available here, but I'm looking into importing it.
I imagine it will retail for around £35/100

I shoot my pistols, right handed and left eye'd too.

I tried to learn to shoot left handed, prone or benched is fine, but for standing or kneeling I'd do just as badly trying to shoot right handed.

As an experiment I shot the McQueens at Bisley (last Sunday) right-handed with a borrowed AR and it was a horrible experience.

I remember it being a requirement of certain PR comps to shoot weak shouldered or weak eyed..... Personally I hated it, fely very..... unsafe...
