I'm thinking about shooting in ya'lls next match. How much ammo do I need to bring for my AR and pistol?

Bring how ever much you want, but all you will need are 2 magazines and at least 100 rounds of each

If you're a GOOD shot you'll use less than two mags worth per run. If you're not a good shot you'd better bring MORE. about 120 round max

Don't forgot a handgun. Many of the times the courses begin or end with a transition to a handgun.

It depends on the corse of fire. One day U might shoot 40 rounds the next time U might only shhot 25 rounds.

what should one bring as far as gear for the match, perhaps something to hold the mags in, like a vest, would be ok? any help would be appreciated,thanks

Bring what you use. Some guys go totally tactical and some us look like your average magazine stuck in the back pocket urban redneck and everything in between..
