I was born in Pa. Fact is my family goes back to before the Revolutionary War there....but I've lived in Florida for nearly all my life.   I occasionally make a trip back to the county of my birth...paying respect to some very old grave sites etc.

I was pleased as hell when PA/FLA decided to reciprocate on their respective firearms licenses  (in short I didn't have to break the law anymore) but I recently noticed a post on a Florida shooters net that indicates someone called the Pa AG's office for verification of the rec. agreement.....according to that poster the AG stated OK but also noted that hi-cap mags and hollow points were illegal.....What gives....I always thought Pa. was a relatively free state!.....Guess if so, my 469 and its preferred fodder are verboten......

Will anybody verify if this's so?

Well they're certainly not legal to have or buy. As far as carrying, I hope not. Never heard of that one in PA.

Absolutely false. PA isn't NJ.

This is the first I'm hearing of this.  I believe you have incorrect information.

That is precisely what I thought.  He'd posted on Fla. shooters net. com about carrying in Pa.  (Philly, to be precise)....several folks gave him utterly wrong info about the legality of it.   I suggested he do it right and contact the Pa. AGs office and get the correct info....he came back with that crap about the hi caps & HPs....That's what prompted me to post here......

Any of you fellows want to set him straight go to that forum on general topics...

Anyway, thanks....he had me wondering if I'd broken the law, tho I sure didn't think so.
