My FFL said pistol permit allows immediate transfer. However, I'm out of state until Friday so it is moot. From what I could decipher in the bill, it looks like constructive ownership of mags is allowed (bought and paid for). However, I couldn't figure out if that applied to firearms as well. Eta: FFL didn't know yet know whether ban would mean no more transfers of existing inventory or to no more new inventory. What about people that are a week into the two week wait? Of course, I suppose I should give up on common sense. |
