thur morning at 3am my 37 year old wife had a stroke. She is still in the hospital she lost felling in the left side of her body and has to be feed by tube. Please pray for her

In the Enid ok bass room 305 for now they may move her to saint marys in a day or to for rehab she sent me to work today that was very hard. This happen on our second week of vacation. So I only have 2 1/2 days left for the year. She is doing a little better. I hate to go back to work but only the Lord know when she with go back to work. They may pull her feeding tube tue. I hope so

update. The feed tube will not come out they are going to take it out of her nose tomarrow and run it in her belly. She was upset that she still can't eat or drink. They are going to move her to rehab thur. she told me today she can't even brush her hair with out help. Her name is Tammy Lynn Richey if you are praying for her.

They are done with tests and said it was her BC med that caused it. She is talking clearer and can brush her hair. I want to thank you guys for the pray you have sent. She told me that God love her and will heal her. She has a long road ahead. For the folks that have not meet my wife she is a western Ok farm girl that loves the lord. If you know some on BC pills have them take a baby Aspirin a day.

Strokes are scary things. That is why they have me on so many meds - I'm a prime candidate for a blood clot and stroke.
I hope she gets well soon.

they move her to Staint Merrys in Enid to start her Rehab. The DR. said she had a brain stem stroke. they said she will be in there a least a month. Thanks for the prayers

Update she is doing better. her talk is clearer and and she is not seeing double all the time. her her balance is starting to come back. She told me today she can feel the shots in her left side.

What you upset me is the ER MD didn't get her heparin after The cat scan and she had a worst stroke at 9 am that same morning. My wife Rn said that how it done and we need to get a lawer. Money will not fix my wife. The ER DR didn't do his job.

sorry for the rant. Time line JULY 3 3 am stroke/ Aspirin with in 5 mins/ Drive 25 miles at 95mph / Er 4am /cat scan 5am/ took her up stairs in step down 7 am/ 8am she has a bad stroke MRi shows stroke at 9am/ 10 am she get blood thiners. They could have gave her drugs at 5 am.

man I thought blood thinners were sop nowdays once they confirmed a stroke had occured as long as more blood clots wernt' found in the legs, lungs or abdominal region.

your right about any amount of money, it don't mean nothing when compaired to the health of a loved one, but maybe a lawsuit would keep this doc from hurting a lot of people down the road.

we'll continue to pray for your wife's recovery and your well being.

right now I feel so helpless when I go see her . I working 12 hours a day and only get to see her for 2-3 hours a day plus lots of drive time.

There are two types of strokes. One from a blood clot and one from an interior bleeder.
They can't tell until they do an MRI.
If they give the anticoagulent with an interior bleeder, the stroke becomes much worse.
Many times doctors don't do things because of lawyers and lawsuits.
Inaction is more defensible than doing the wrong thing.
OKguy91, I'm hurting for you and your family. Why things happen like they do only the Good Lord knows. Put your faith in Him and all will be well.

Update

I would like to thank you for your prays. I am praying for God will to be done and I turn it over to him the day she got sick. I belive that God is test our Faith. PLease pray that my wife Tammy Richey swallowing difficulty will be healed and her balance will come back if that is Gods will . The stroke hit her swallowing the most. I was told today that she may never eat or drink normaly. I know that up to God in the End.

She is very down she told me tonight to move on with my life. I told her hell no. Right now I am the one she dumps on I guess that my JOB for now. She get mad when I touch her because she said it feels weird. her whole body is like that. she said she can't feel hot water and when Touch her she knows I am there but can't feel much. They will do a swallow test thur if she does not pass the will put a pec in her stomach they are releasing her from the hospital on the 30th but she will have to come back to Enid every day for her work outs. not sure how that will work with gas money and Me working and she can't drive

please pray for her test on thur and for us as a couple we where going throw a rocky time but for this stroke happened.

She stills has the feeding tube but the have taken it out of her nose and put it in her belly today. Her mood is better too. They think her feed tube will only me in her belly for a few weeks. She is coming home wed the 30th and will doing home health rehab 3 days a week for a while. I can never repay you for your time spend praying thank you some much!!!!!

That is great to hear.

More prayer and we'll have her totally healed if the Good Lord is willing.
And I'm sure He will be if we continue our prayers for Tammy.
