You might reconsider and order from Powder Valley instead. Great prices and a great inventory.
Link to Powder Valley's website For shooting 55 grain bullets. Any of the Ramshot powders work excellent for .223. I recommend XTerminator for bullets less than 69 and TAC for 69-80,but TAC also works well for 55's. Hodgden 335 is very good as is Accurate Arms 2015,2230,2460. 2460 is excellent for loading fast 55's with great accuracy. Also Winchester 748 is widely used. I personally use Hodgden Benchmark for all my 55's and 69's and it works great. Very accurate powder and it is not temp sensitive at all. Just a little pricey. Ramshot is the most cost effective powder. |
