Hope you can learn to like winter, the highways in North Dakota are in pretty good condition, it's expansion and contraction that breaks up highways, in North Dakota the highways never get warm enough to expand.

I lived in North Dakota for a year.. and it's ok.. You get to experience both seasons in North Dakota.. Deer Season and Winter.. If you move to South Dakota you get to experience all 4 seasons... Pheasant Season, Deer Season, Summer and Winter..

Thanks for the replies. I grew up in the Northeast and always liked the winter as a kid. I know the winters in ND are a lot longer and more severe. I was hoping that there would be activities that didn't involve snow and ice, at least during June, July and August.
I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens at work. Thanks |
