Two pics taken 6 months apart.  A little diet and alot of exercise goes a long way huh?

EDIT:  Moar.  Got a new L series lens for my camera and I love it.

And a couple of me.  We ran chair drills at 50 yards with iron sights, it was REALLY hard!  But I've lost about 30lbs myself, so even with level 4 plates I'm not nearly as winded as I would have been running the drill in a tshirt 4 months ago.  Those steel plates regretted the day they encountered us!  It CAN be done.

Still have a little way to go.....

eta: where's they pics of you Duke?  Did I shoot them so poorly that none turned out?

ETA2:  I really should buy a new belt  I'm all gangster sagg'n

ETA3:  Somebody call us fat and tell us to sell our go-fast gear and get in tip-top-shape before we worry about shooting well, it just won't feel like a  patented "duke and friends shooting" thread without it

Looks like a good day of shooting.   You guys keep it up.  I'm trying to get back the mind set that I had when I was in good shape.  It's just a little harder to stay determined these days.

A little AAR:

Single points are great when you're doing all sorts of shoulder switching with your rifle in say an urban environment.  But they really suck when you drop your rifle and transition to your pistol and continue running a box drill, make for a pretty sweet bruise on you knee.  The B.A.D. lever is freaking awesome! everyone should get one .  Shooting a 10"ish plate on the move at 50 yards with a rifle is difficult with irons, red-dots definitely increase speed and accuracy.  THAT IS ALL!  For now at least

One of these days I'll get to go to the range with you and Duke.

Of course, it won't be on a week day unless I get a weeks notice so I can ask for it off.

BTW Duke, I got your email from Saturday today.  I was pretty busy with Desi and the boys and had left my phone at home.  Took them to the pumpkin patch with my bro and niece.

So...besides the PM9, the only gun I got to see was this...

punkin' chunker.

Shots of the niece, Joseph and the allusive Desi (I think she was scolding me for something).

Remeber Duke, nice glass DOES make a difference, but you are still the artist...the camera and the lenses are the tools!  Much like the shooter and the gun.  :)  But I must admit, I like my fast glass!  Welcome to the club!
